六趣

The six directions of reincarnation, also [lang id =1028]六道:

(1) [lang id =1028]地獄趣 naraka-gati, or that of the hells;

(2) [lang id =1028]餓鬼趣 (sa) preta-gati, of hungry ghosts;

(3) [lang id =1028]畜生趣 (sa) tiryagyoni-gati, of animals;

(4) [lang id =1028]阿修羅趣 (sa) asura-gati, of malevolent nature spirits; (5 ) [lang id =1028]人趣 (sa) manuṣya-gati, of human existence;

(6) [lang id =1028]天趣 (sa) deva-gati, of (sa) deva existence. The [lang id =1028]六趣輪廻經 is attributed to Aśvaghoṣa.

地獄趣、 餓鬼趣、 畜生趣、 阿修羅趣、 人趣， 天趣。 趣是趣向之義， 眾生受報， 皆由因趣果， 故六道又名六趣。
